Business Development executive

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Associate to join our software development company. In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with potential clients across various industries. Your goal will be to drive growth by offering customized software solutions that meet client needs.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with bidding platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, LinkedIn, and other freelance/job portals, and should be comfortable creating and submitting proposals, engaging with prospects, and converting leads into long-term clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify potential clients through research, outbound outreach (emails, calls, LinkedIn), and networking.
- Client Engagement: Understand client requirements and pain points to propose relevant software solutions.
- Proposal Development: Assist in preparing technical proposals, quotations, and sales presentations in coordination with the technical team.
- Market Research: Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and market shifts to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and software development teams to ensure alignment of client expectations and deliverables.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, preferably in a tech or software company.
- Strong understanding of software development services (e.g., web/mobile apps, custom software, SaaS).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to understand and explain technical solutions.
